POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven leader to drive the transformation of pricing and contracting capabilities across the $0.6B+ Microbiology Division (MBD).
This role will act as a key business partner to Commercial and Finance leadership, with end-to-end ownership of pricing governance, contract strategy, and price realization performance. The successful candidate will lead a distributed team, shape the division's pricing roadmap, and deliver measurable margin expansion and commercial effectiveness.
This is a high-impact role with significant visibility, responsible for embedding best-in-class pricing practices, strengthening contract discipline, and enabling long-term value creation across global markets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pricing Strategy & Transformation
• Define and execute the global pricing strategy and roadmap, driving initiatives to enhance price realization, margin performance, and long-term value capture
• Lead the evolution of pricing capabilities, including segmentation, discount governance, and value-based pricing approaches
• Identify and close pricing performance gaps, delivering tangible and measurable business impact
Contracts & Commercial Governance
• Own and enhance the contracting framework and governance model, ensuring consistency, compliance, and risk mitigation
• Standardize contracting processes, templates, and approval flows across regions and channels
• Partner with Legal and Commercial teams to ensure robust contract structures aligned with business and regulatory requirements
Business Partnering & Commercial Impact
• Act as a trusted advisor to Commercial leadership, influencing pricing and contracting decisions to support growth and profitability
• Drive discount discipline and pricing accountability through structured reviews, training, and performance management
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Commercial, Finance, Sales Operations, Legal) to align pricing strategies with business objectives
Analytics, Reporting & Performance Management
• Lead pricing performance tracking, including price realization, margin evolution, and discount leakage
• Deliver actionable insights through advanced analytics to support strategic decision-making
• Oversee pricing-related financial processes, including rebate governance and reconciliation
Team Leadership
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing, geographically distributed team
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Attract, mentor, and retain top talent, strengthening both technical and leadership capabilities
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in pricing, commercial strategy, or financial leadership roles within complex, global organizations
• Proven track record of leading pricing transformation initiatives and delivering measurable margin improvement
• Strong experience in pricing governance, discount frameworks, and commercial policy design
• Advanced analytical capabilities, with experience leveraging data analytics and data-driven decision making
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders in a highly matrixed, fast-paced environment
• Experience building and leading high-performing, distributed teams
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
• Experience in Healthcare, Life Sciences, or manufacturing environments
• Exposure to contracting through distribution channels, GPOs, and rebate structures
• Familiarity with value-based pricing and advanced pricing models
• Experience working in global, cross-regional organizations
• Strong change management and transformation mindset
