Job Overview

This role provides strategic and operational finance leadership to support business performance,decision-making, andlong-rangeplanning within DePuy Synthes. The Sr. Manager, Business Ops / Finance partners closely withcrossfunctionaland senior leaders to drive financial rigor, improve processes, and enable sustainable growth. This is a highly visible role withdirectimpact on business results, resource allocation, and operational effectiveness across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes to support shortandlong-termbusinessobjectives.

  • Partner with business and functional leaders toprovidefinancial insights, scenario analysis, and recommendations that drive performance.

  • Oversee management reporting, variance analysis, and performance metrics to ensure transparency and accountability.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes, controls, and operational efficiency.

  • Support strategic initiatives, including investment evaluations, cost optimization, and business case development.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Lead and developfinancetalent, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor9s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, ora relatedfield (required).

  • MBA or advanced degree (preferred).

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • Minimum8 610 yearsof progressive experience in finance, business operations, or related roles.

  • Demonstrated experience in financial planning, forecasting, and management reporting.

  • Proven ability to partner withcrossfunctionalstakeholders and influence at the senior leadership level.

  • Experience leading teams and developing talent in a matrixed environment.

  • Solid understanding of internal controls, compliance, and financial governance.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting a global ormultibusinessorganization.

  • Background in medical devices, life sciences, ora regulatedindustry.

  • Experience driving process improvements or finance transformation initiatives.

  • Advanced financial modeling and scenario planning capabilities.

  • Prior experience partnering with operations, supply chain, or commercial teams.

  • Strong analytical andproblemsolvingskills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Other:

  • Language: English (required).

  • Travel:Limited; up to 10 20%, primarily domestic.

  • Certifications: CPA, CMA, or similar (preferred).

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company9s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
