Senior Management Analyst

Chippewa Government Solutions LLC, a Sault Tribe Inc. ("STI Federal") company, is searching for a dynamic and skilled Senior Management Analyst to be a key part of our expanding team!

What You'll Do...

Key Responsibilities & Expected Outcomes
  • Conduct organizational studies and evaluations across DOE program offices and partner entities receiving Technical Assistance.
  • Design and improve administrative systems and procedures to enhance operational efficiency, compliance, and effectiveness.
  • Perform work-simplification and measurement studies to streamline internal processes.
  • Prepare operations manuals, procedures documents, workflows, and guidance tailored to CMEI programs and TA recipients.
  • Support planning, oversight, and administration of TA in alignment with the PWS, BPA terms, and federal advisory and assistance service requirements.
  • Ensure transparency, accessibility, and adherence to DOE, CMEI, and federal regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to DOE's multi-office coordination efforts, providing subject-matter insight to strengthen TA outcomes over multi-year program cycles.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct organizational assessments and design operational improvements.
  • Skilled in creative problem-solving, ideation, and developing innovative approaches to administrative and technical challenges.

  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience working with federal systems (e.g., STRIPES, FAST, PAGE, PMC) as required by TA workflows.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: MA/MS degree.
  • Experience:
  • Senior-level professional with more than 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Typically operates independently on high-visibility or mission-critical program aspects.
  • Experience overseeing the work of junior personnel and/or managing all staff assigned to a specific project or portfolio.
  • Clearance: Ability to obtain and/or maintain a federal clearance up to Top Secret/DOE Q clearance levels.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience:
  • Prior experience supporting the U.S. Department of Energy, especially in offices focused on critical minerals, energy innovation, manufacturing, or applied energy programs.
  • Knowledge of IIJA-funded programs, DOE grant/financial assistance structures, and federal TA requirements.
  • Experience coordinating TA with states, Tribes, local governments, higher education institutions, nonprofits, or private-sector partners receiving DOE funding.
  • Familiarity with DOE operational systems including STRIPES, FAST, PAGE, and PMC, or comparable federal acquisition/reporting platforms.
  • Background in critical minerals, materials science, battery or magnet technologies, next-generation energy systems, manufacturing supply chains, or energy-efficiency standards.
  • Experience developing systems, standards, certification processes, or analytical frameworks for federal or technical programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within multi-office federal environments that require cross-agency coordination and transparent, fact-based decision support.


  • Understanding of energy networks, hydropower, fuels, chemicals, or emerging technologies relevant to CMEI's Office of Energy Technology.
  • Experience supporting federal R&D, commercialization pathways, or deployment of energy technologies.
  • Familiarity with appliance standards, building codes, weatherization programs, or industrial energy-efficiency initiatives relevant to DOE's Office of Innovation, Affordability, and Consumer Choice.

Work Environment
  • Environment: Work will be performed in a climate-controlled office, remotely or possibly on client sites as needed.
