Key Responsibility- Lead and supervise the maintenance team in daily operations, prioritizing safety, efficiency, and equipment uptime.
- Perform and oversee troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems, especially on aerosol filling lines and support equipment.
- Coordinate with production to schedule maintenance, reduce downtime, and support operational goals.
- Conduct facility open-up/close-down tasks, including alarm systems, lighting, compressors, air dryers, and boilers.
- Ensure compliance all safety regulations.
- Support equipment installations, overhauls, process improvements, and capital projects as needed.
- Train, mentor, and support mechanics and technicians in both technical and safety procedures.
- Conduct audits on technicians and PM effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, and EHS teams to support manufacturing goals.
- Source, order, and maintain inventory of critical spare parts and maintenance supplies.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff; conduct performance evaluations and schedule coverage.
- Respond to emergencies and off-hours issues as needed.
- Perform basic fabrication and machining (mill, lathe, drill press), and adjust or repair conveyor systems and production line machinery including:
- Perform basic electrical diagnostics, including motor controls, 3-phase systems, frequency drives, and PLC-related troubleshooting.
- Carry out other duties as assigned to support maintenance and production objectives.
Qualifications- Possess and demonstrate mechanical aptitude
- Attention to detail for identifying defects
- Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines
- Working knowledge of PLCs and basic electrical troubleshooting a plus
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Utilize CMMS software (eMaint) to log work orders, schedule preventive maintenance, and track equipment history. In addition, review maintenance emails, and track daily logs
- Use computer-based systems to access equipment manuals, technical documents, schematics, and SOPs
- Comfortable using computers and software applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Education and/or Experience- High School Diploma or equivalent
Compensation:Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position is $52.00/hour. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
