Full Job Description
POSITION DUTIES:

As part of this expansion in the United States, XNRGY is seeking a qualified and experienced on-site Sr. Lean Engineer to join the team. The position of Sr. Lean Engineer is responsible for supporting the implementation and sustainment of lean manufacturing methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives within production operations to improve efficiency, quality, and overall operational performance. The role focuses on applying lean principles within a manufacturing environment and supporting process optimization efforts.

Essential duties include analyzing manufacturing and production processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement; conducting time studies and line balancing analyses to optimize labor utilization and production flow; supporting the implementation of lean manufacturing methodologies to reduce waste and improve quality; designing and implementing process improvements to improve efficiency and optimize cycle time; developing and maintaining process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process flow documentation; conducting root cause analysis and supporting implementation of corrective and preventive actions to resolve production issues; facilitating continuous improvement activities, including Kaizen events and structured improvement initiatives; developing and monitoring process performance metrics; evaluating and supporting implementation of material flow systems, including Kanban or similar pull systems; and collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain to support production and process improvement efforts.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related engineering discipline, or the foreign equivalent thereof; and 60 months of progressive work experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering, or continuous improvement roles within a production environment.

The required experience must include applying lean manufacturing principles and methodologies to improve production processes; conducting time studies and line balancing analysis to optimize labor utilization and production flow, including support for start of production and new product introduction activities; developing and maintaining process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs); conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions to resolve production issues; facilitating continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen events or similar structured improvement activities; supporting implementation of material flow systems, including Kanban or similar pull systems; and utilizing CAD-based tools for process layout, workstation design, or process documentation.
