SALARYThis position has a base salary range of $72,000 - $108,000 USD Annual. This range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience and time in the role.
SUMMARYSupport projects related to prospecting, building, and maintaining strong corporate and community partnerships within the community charter footprint, as well as support business development events and strategic marketing efforts to increase participation within these core audiences.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Support implementation of community strategy for all potential credit union members.
- Independently manage a variety of business development and member acquisition projects.
- Collaborate closely with various credit union departments to manage completion of projects, particularly Marketing and Retail Banking.
- Represent BCU professionally to key corporate and local contacts and at a variety of business development events.
- Support logistics for promotional and educational on-site events, targeted campaigns, and other programs.
- Brainstorm creative promotional concepts, products, and campaigns that support relevant growth goals.
- Coach branch staff on successful sales techniques during events.
- Exceed goals as defined by Community Business Development Leader.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum of 3 years of successful sales, customer service or event planning experience required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint required.
Experience in financial services (private banking, customer service, sales, lending, etc) preferred. - Ability to prioritize work assignments and shift work efforts based on departmental needs and business goals.
- Proven track record of effective time-management and organization.
- Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to work effectively alone or as part of a team.
- Must be a self-starter, self-motivating, ability to operate efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation/public speaking skills.
- Travel is required - 80% of work week; flexible work schedule.
- Evening and weekend hours are frequently necessary.
- Bi-lingual (Spanish & English) a plus.
