JOB SUMMARY

Provides technical support to the quality and quality engineering (QE) functions | Conducts nondestructive examination (NDE) and quality control (QC) inspections on products, materials, components, parts, etc., at various stages of the production process to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards | Captures and analyzes statistical data from processes to either confirm compliance with established standards or identify deviations from standards | Recommends new or enhanced methods, procedures and standards

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Four (4) or more years Oil & Gas or related experience (Required)
  • Three (3) years experience as an API unit or piping inspector in a refinery or petrochemical facility.
  • Six (6) or more years pressure equipment inspection, nondestructive examination (NDE) and/or welding (Required)
  • Required Certifications/Licensures: (Current American Petroleum Institute (API) 510 certification and API 570 and be willing to obtain both API 580 and API 571 within two years )
