Job Title: Sr. Industrial Engineer- Factory Logistics

The Impact You'll Make

As a Senior Industrial Engineer- Factory Logistics, you will play a key role in shaping how materials flow through our manufacturing operations, from receiving and warehousing to production and shipping. Your work will directly improve productivity, inventory performance, factory efficiency, and the ability of our operations to deliver for customers.

This is a highly visible opportunity to lead logistics transformation initiatives, including warehouse optimization, lean material flow, factory layout design, and the deployment of advanced automation technologies such as AGVs, AMRs, and Industry 4.0 solutions. You will work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Planning, Procurement, and Quality teams to create scalable solutions that support growth and operational excellence.

Success in this role comes from building safe, efficient, and sustainable logistics processes that reduce waste, improve assembly line uptime, optimize inventory and material delivery strategies, and deliver measurable business impact through continuous improvement and automation.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead factory logistics improvement initiatives that optimize material flow, reduce waste, improve inventory accuracy, and ensure reliable delivery of materials to production.
  • Design and implement warehouse layouts, material handling systems, point-of-use inventory strategies, and line replenishment processes that enhance operational efficiency and support business growth.
  • Drive automation projects involving AGVs, AMRs, fleet management systems, and smart factory technologies to improve material transport, replenishment, and overall logistics performance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Engineering, Procurement, Quality, and Production Planning to support new product introductions, production transfers, facility expansions, and strategic transformation projects.
  • Use data analytics, industrial engineering methods, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement tools to identify opportunities, deliver cost savings, improve productivity, and support safe, high-performing operations.


What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience, typically gained through 5+ years in manufacturing, industrial engineering, factory logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain environments.
  • Proven ability to analyze and improve material flow, inventory management, production logistics, and warehouse operations in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience applying Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies, supported by strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP preferred), Microsoft Excel, and logistics or manufacturing data analysis tools, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions and influence outcomes.

Preferred experience includes warehouse management systems (WMS), facility layout design, CAD tools, Power BI, simulation software, Lean Six Sigma certifications, and hands-on involvement with AGVs, AMRs, automation technologies, factory expansions, or smart manufacturing initiatives.
