Job Description Summary

Position Responsibilities:
  • Prepare federal and state/local income and franchise tax returns and supporting documentation including book/tax differences.
  • Coordinate, gather, and analyze supporting data from internal and external resources to prepare tax returns and/or submit to third-party service providers
  • Prepare estimate tax payments, extensions, and cash tax forecasts
  • Prepare monthly, quarter-end, and year-end income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740 and SOX mandates
  • Assist with the consolidation of worldwide income tax provision and related tax disclosures for public filings including Form 10-Q and Form 10-K
  • Respond to inquiries from federal, state, and local taxing authorities
  • Assist with fixed asset accounting including reconciliation of book/tax roll forwards
  • Research, interpret, and document federal and state/local tax issues through emails and formal memoranda
  • Support automation and data-related initiatives for income tax matters
  • Assist with tax planning and consulting opportunities including acquisition accounting
  • Assist with global transfer pricing compliance and reporting
  • May also assist with non-income tax matters as they arise

Requirements:

Education & Experience:
  • 3-5 years of federal and/or state corporate income tax experience with a CPA firm or a corporate tax department
  • CPA or on path to CPA preferred
  • Strong skills in Federal and multi-state corporate income tax compliance and ASC 740
  • Must be proficient using ONESOURCE Income Tax and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Alteryx and Oracle is a plus
  • Excellent project management, analytical, and communication skills


Physical Demands:

Must be able to bend, squat, crouch and/or reach and lift up to 25 pounds or more, as required by the job. Base Pay Range: $98,573.00 - 135,537.60
