Position Summary:

The Senior Import Production Manager oversees all aspects of imported product production for the US Wholesale business unit. This role ensures timely, cost-effective, and high-quality execution of products from overseas vendors while collaborating closely with Product Development, Sourcing, and Quality teams. The ideal candidate has strong experience managing international vendors, import logistics, and production schedules, along with a deep understanding of apparel manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the end-to-end production process for imported products, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and cost targets are met.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with overseas vendors to monitor production progress and resolve issues proactively.
  • Coordinate with Product Development and Design teams to ensure accurate translation of design concepts into final products.
  • Review and approve pre-production samples, lab dips, trims, and production prototypes for compliance with design intent and brand standards.
  • Oversee production schedules, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate with Sourcing and Planning teams to optimize lead times, inventory planning, and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and licensing standards for all imported products.
  • Track, analyze, and report production metrics to leadership, identifying opportunities for process improvements.
