POSITION OVERVIEW
The Sr. HSE Systems & Data Specialist supports the administration, performance, and continuous improvement of Pinto Valley Mine's HSE management systems and reporting processes. This role is responsible for managing HSE data systems, maintaining compliance reporting, and supporting site personnel through system administration, training, and technical support.
The position works closely with site leadership and corporate teams to ensure accurate data management, effective reporting, and reliable operation of HSE systems and tools.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
• HSE Systems Administration: Manage the Intelex safety management system, including user access, system support, and coordination with corporate teams.
• Incident & Action Management: Review submitted incidents, track investigations and corrective actions, and ensure timely workflow completion within the system.
• Reporting & Dashboards: Develop and maintain compliance dashboards, reports, and performance metrics using Intelex, Power BI, SharePoint, and Microsoft tools.
• Data Integrity & Compliance: Ensure HSE data is accurate, current, and aligned with reporting and compliance requirements.
• User Support & Training: Provide system support and training for supervisors and site personnel on HSE systems and reporting tools.
• Management Systems Support: Assist with administration and maintenance of management system components including procedures, programs, and field administrative tools.
• Continuous Improvement: Support improvements to HSE systems, reporting processes, and data management practices.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Required
• 5+ years experience administering HSE or management systems in an industrial environment
• Proficiency with Intelex, Power BI, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of management systems and controlled documentation processes
• Valid Arizona driver's license
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
Preferred
• 3+ years experience in mining or heavy industrial operations
• Understanding of incident investigation methodologies
WORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• Primarily office-based role with occasional field interaction in an active mining operation
• Approximately 90% office work and 10% field work
• Walking on uneven ground and navigating industrial work areas as needed
• Exposure to dust, noise, heat, and varying weather conditions during field visits
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) in operational areas
All candidates will be required to complete a pre-employment medical exam, drug and alcohol test, and background check.
