Position SummaryThe Multi-Site HR Manager provides strategic and hands-on HR leadership across multiple CVG manufacturing locations, serving as the primary HR point of contact and liaison for assigned plants. This role leads a team of HR professionals - including an HR Manager, Sr. HR Generalist, HR Generalist, and hourly support staff - while partnering closely with Plant Managers, plant leadership teams, and Directors of Operations to align HR strategy with production and business priorities. The Multi-Site HR Manager acts as the connective tissue between the plants, Talent Acquisition, and other corporate HR functions, ensuring consistent, compliant, and responsive HR support across all sites of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management - Directly lead and develop a team of HR professionals
- Set clear metrics driven goals and objectives including KPIs and KAIs that are tied to the business strategy
- Conduct performance reviews, and provide coaching to build HR capability and bench strength across the team.
- Establish consistent HR practices, service levels, and ways of working across all sites supported by the team.
- Manage workload distribution and prioritization across the team to ensure responsive, high-quality HR support at each plant.
Plant & Business Partnership - Serve as the primary HR liaison and trusted advisor to Plant Managers, plant leadership staff, Corporate Health and Safety team and Directors of Operations on all people-related matters.
- Partner with plant leadership on workforce planning, staffing levels, labor relations, and production-driven HR needs.
- Provide proactive guidance on employee relations, safety compliance and training (in partnership with corporate team) performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution at the plant level.
- Engaging with the operations team to ensure operational workforce planning practices and tools are in place to ensure that the organization has the skills, resources and plan to match the business growth strategy
- Support change management efforts tied to production ramp-ups, restructuring, or operational shifts at assigned facilities.
- Act as an escalation point for complex HR issues arising at the plants, ensuring timely and appropriate resolution.
Cross-Functional HR Liaison - Serve as the go-to HR contact and liaison between assigned plants and Talent Acquisition, ensuring hiring needs are clearly communicated and recruiting support is effectively delivered.
- Partner with other Corporate HR functions (Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, HRIS, etc.) to identify opportunities for improvement and bring corporate programs and initiatives to the plant level.
- Represent plant-level needs and feedback in broader HR planning and policy discussions.
- Ensure consistent rollout, communication, and adoption of HR programs, policies, and initiatives across assigned locations.
Compliance & HR Operations - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across all supported locations.
- Oversee accurate administration of HR policies, procedures, and documentation at each site.
- Partner with Legal and Sr. Director of HR on complex employee relations matters, investigations, and risk mitigation.
- Monitor and report on key HR metrics (turnover, headcount, time-to-fill, etc.) across assigned plants.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience leading and developing other HR professionals.
- Experience supporting an industrial and/or manufacturing environment is required.
- Demonstrated experience supporting multiple sites or a multi-site HR structure preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
- Proven ability to build credibility and influence with plant leadership, including Plant Managers and Operations leaders.
- Strong employee relations, conflict resolution, and investigation skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and change management skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly to assigned plant locations.
Preferred Qualifications - Fluency in Spanish (preferred, not required).
