Job Summary:Position Overview:You will plan and execute validation testing for electrical controllers used across Polaris vehicles, working closely with internal teams, external lab partners and suppliers. In this role, you define validation strategies, design test setups, and ensure hardware meets performance, compliance, and production requirements. You will support system-level validation, contribute to design reviews, and provide data-driven insights to support product readiness. This role is a compelling opportunity because you directly influence product quality, compliance, and production release for critical vehicle electronics systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute hardware validation plans for electrical controllers used in Polaris vehicles.
- Analyze requirements and create detailed test cases to validate system functionality and performance.
- Design and oversee the build of test setups, including initial checkout and validation readiness.
- Coordinate validation activities with program managers, system leads, and internal/external test labs.
- Support regulatory compliance testing, including radio and environmental certification requirements.
- Lead validation execution and ensure adherence to established processes and standards.
- Collect, review, and compile validation data to support production sign-off and final reporting.
- Participate in hardware and system design reviews, including DFMEA, HARA, and FTA activities.
- Contribute to development and continuous improvement of validation processes and testing standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve validation issues and support design updates.

Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in hardware validation, verification, or electronics development.
- Experience with validation of vehicle electronics including controllers, displays, or communication systems.
- Knowledge of environmental testing from both mechanical and electrical perspectives.
- Experience working with communications technologies such as CAN, Ethernet, USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, VHF, Cellular or A2B.
- Familiarity with validation tools and systems such as DOORS, Codebeamer or Jama.
- Experience with Vector tools.
- Experience supporting design validation activities including DFMEA and functional safety concepts.
- Strong project coordination skills working with internal teams and external labs.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional development environment.
- This role is onsite (minimum 3-days/week).

The starting pay range for Minnesota is $104,000 to $128,000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors, it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range. To qualify for this position, former employees must be eligible for rehire, and current employees must be in good standing.
