In this role, you will play a key part in the company's accounting close and financial reporting processes. You will conduct technical accounting research, prepare and review financial analyses, and support accurate reporting for both internal and external stakeholders. You'll bring a strong understanding of accounting principles and reporting requirements, with the ability to take on complex tasks and contribute to finance-related projects as needed.
What you will do - Lead a portion of the accounting close cycle, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Prepare and review journal entries and general ledger reconciliations.
- Compile and validate reporting files to support financial accuracy.
- Develop and analyze financial analytics and management reports.
- Review and deliver financial reports and other key deliverables to stakeholders.
- Lead ad hoc projects, including process improvements, accounting transactions, and innovation initiatives.
- Coordinate audit-related activities by preparing complex schedules and working with auditors.
- Provide technical accounting training and guidance on company policies, controls, and standards.
- Resolve complex issues independently and produce high-quality work with minimal review needed.

CompensationHourly Range: $79,900 - $133,200 plus eligibility for annual bonus programs
Who you are- BA/BS in Accounting or related field required.
- 3-5+ years of direct work experience in accounting, insurance, or finance.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong process improvement mindset with the ability to think creatively.
- Highly motivated and driven to exceed expectations.
- Collaborative team player who values growth and continuous improvement.
- Goal-oriented with a proven track record of completing tasks and projects.
- Flexible and available to work extended hours during peak periods (e.g., quarter/year-end, special projects).
- High school diploma required.
