OverviewThe Strategic Finance & Analytics (SF&A) team drives strategic and financial decision-making across Sunrun by serving as trusted business advisors who provide insightful analyses. We are seeking a highly motivated individual focused on building and improving scalable processes to support company growth and meeting financial objectives. The Senior Analyst will support the SRM Sales Finance team, delivering financial forecasting, reporting, and analysis for profitable growth. This role requires frequent interaction with Sales leadership and necessitates becoming a trusted thought partner. The role initially supports Sales & Marketing (S&M) with potential transition to other business areas and a pathway to a more senior position within SF&A or Sunrun.
Responsibilities- Assist the Sunrun Managed volume forecast process, including setting deadlines, developing forecasting tools and methodologies, and validating business owner assumptions.
- Coordinate sales financial planning and forecasting, conducting monthly cost reviews with Director/VPs over controllable expenses, by analyses such as:
- Performing Retail and Field Sales store level profitability and staffing analysis.
- Supporting the design and implementation of compensation plans for various sales roles.
- Performing financial reviews and supporting the design of sales promotions.
- Performing financial analysis of third-party and digital lead vendors.
- Prioritize and address ad hoc financial needs for the S&M business, focusing on sales strategy across various sales and lead channels.
- Develop and maintain standardized reporting tools, including Anaplan models, to provide operational teams with accessible financial data.
- Develop tools using AI to efficiently achieve accurate information sharing and analysis, maximizing time spent on highest impact
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in FP&A, investment banking, equity research, or consulting with a proven track record of success
- Strong analytical skills and effective communication required for this highly cross-functional role.
- Preferred experience with Anaplan or other similar financial planning software.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic and highly team-oriented.
- Inquisitive, enjoys problem-solving, and focused on driving results.
- Excellent financial modeling and presentation skills
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment.

Starting salary/wage for this opportunity:
$74,773.20 to $99,697.60
