Position Overview: As our Sr. Financial Analyst, FP&A, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive financial analysis and supporting leadership in the strategic financial planning of BWXT Medical. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial modeling to support decision-making processes and provides financial insights that drive operational improvements and cost saving initiatives. This role is also involved in continuous improvement, system enhancements, and process automation.

Your Day to Day as our Sr. Financial Analyst, FP&AFinancial Reporting and Analysis- Analyze monthly, quarterly and year-end reporting packages.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on budget performance and financial trends.
Budgeting and Forecasting- Help lead the annual budgeting process and develop rolling forecasts.
- Build and maintain predictive financial models to support strategic planning
- Cross-Functional Collaboration.
- Collaborate with business leaders with in Medical to provide financial insights that drive operational improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Work with operations to establish forecast benchmarks and liaise with functional leaders on drivers and assumptions.
Process Improvements- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement automated solutions for financial reporting and analysis.
- Continuously develop tools and systems to streamline financial operations.
- Deliver recommendations on cost efficiencies, investment decisions, sourcing, and performance improvement.
Capital Planning & Project Support- Track and report on capital project actuals and forecasts, including cost estimates at/to completion (EAC/ETC).
- Support business units in developing, reviewing, and analyzing capital plans.
- Support requests for capital investment with quantitative models/evaluation.
Confidentiality and Compliance- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive financial information and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications: Education & Credentials- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- CPA (completed or in progress) considered an asset.
Experience- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a medical or manufacturing environment.
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams in a multi-site or multi-business-unit environment.
Technical Skills- Familiarity with financial planning tools (e.g., Oracle, SAP, OneStream) and business intelligence software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Proficient in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting, with advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills with senior leadership.
- High integrity, strong ownership mindset, and ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Collaborative, proactive, and able to influence non-finance stakeholders.
- Demonstrated track record of process improvement & automation.

The base salary range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $85,000 and $129,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.
