Job Description

As a Sr Field Service Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will lead and coordinate our Field Service team to ensure timely and effective service delivery to our customers. You will play a key role in managing daily operations, supporting technicians, and driving customer satisfaction through excellent service management.

You will report directly to our Sr Field Service Manager and you'll work out of our Ottawa, Ontario location.

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and quality of our field service operations, directly influencing customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support field service technicians up to 20 direct reports to achieve operational and customer service objectives.
  • Plan and assign work to optimize resource utilization and meet service and project commitments.
  • Monitor service KPIs, productivity, backlog, and SLA performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and support for complex customer issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Build strong customer relationships and support issue resolution.
  • Coach, develop, and evaluate technician performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Achieve financial and operational objectives by targeting a zero-contract cancellation level, high margins, growth of the contract base, and driving additional billable work
  • Support operations and logistics of Honeywell's Ottawa office.


Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE
  • Post-Secondary education in engineering, business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Mechanical, Building Automation, HVAC, Security or Fire industry.
  • 2+ years of experience leading field service, maintenance, or technical service teams including knowledge of service operations, scheduling, and workforce management.
  • Able to obtain Secret Level Clearance with the Government of Canada
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time in the National Capital Region.
  • Valid G Driver's license required


WE VALUE
  • Bachelor's degree valued in Engineering (Building, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, etc.)
  • Proficiency with field service management and business systems.
  • Experience with managing profit centres and driving revenue.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently and collaboratively in a team
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement and operational excellence methodologies.


The annual base salary range for this position is $115,000 to $130,000 in Ottawa, Ontario. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
