Sr. Estimating Engineer - Kapco Grafton, WI

Responsibilities: - Interpret engineering documents such as drawings, technical manuals and technical specifications
- Examine documents (blueprints, drawings, change orders, and specifications) and verify completeness and accuracy of data
- Confers with document originators and technical experts, and or customer's engineering liaison personnel, resolves discrepancies and implements required changes
- Serves as customer liaison and reports customer concerns
- Determines costs of processing products and provides quote information for customers
- Investigates problems and initiates effective measures for their solution
- Maintains an awareness of developments and technologies in the area of coating techniques, assembly processes and material control
- Provides recommendations regarding feasibility of using alternative approaches, modifying or replacing processes to reduce costs or improve quality
- Enters data and maintains related files
- Participates on improvement teams, as needed
- Other duties as assigned
