Full Job Description
Primary focus on developing, auditing and maintaining environmental processes and policies for EOG corporate programs. The candidate will support and develop ongoing improvements of environmental systems, provide support and solutions for data management, and data migration through EOG information systems. The candidate should have a strong background in data quality assurance and control. The candidate will communicate and collaborate with other environmental and regulatory specialists across the company to ensure consistency in project execution. The candidate will have knowledge of environmental and regulatory rules and potential changes that may impact EOG's environmental programs. The candidate will assist in the development and coordination of required environmental training for environmental and operations personnel across the company as needed. Travel up to 25% is required.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in oil/gas.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, environmental science or other relevant field preferred. High school diploma or GED required.
  • Thorough knowledge of environmental and regulatory rules and regulations related to upstream oil and gas operations.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced working environment.
  • Candidates must possess excellent writing skills, with a proven ability to draft, edit, and refine professional documents.
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate clearly and professionally with both Office and Field personnel.
  • Strong organization skills and the ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Strong computer and database skills.


Position will be filled at level commensurate with experience.
