About the job you're considering:

Responsible for the design, development, integration, testing, and maintenance of embedded software for HVAC and smart control systems. The role requires strong expertise in Embedded C/C++, Zephyr RTOS, Modbus communication, embedded system testing, and hardware/software integration to support development of reliable, secure, and high-performance products.

Your Role:

  • Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware using Embedded C/C++ for microcontroller-based systems.
  • Implement modular, reusable, and scalable software architecture following industry best practices.
  • Develop device drivers, middleware, and application-layer software components.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards such as MISRA-C and secure coding guidelines.
  • RTOS Development
  • Develop and optimize embedded applications using Zephyr RTOS.
  • Configure and manage tasks, threads, semaphores, queues, timers, and interrupt handling mechanisms.
  • Integrate Zephyr-based solutions with hardware platforms and communication stacks.
  • Communication Protocol Integration
  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot Modbus RTU/TCP communication interfaces.
  • Develop communication frameworks for interaction between controllers, sensors, gateways, and cloud-connected devices.
  • Analyze protocol traces and resolve communication and interoperability issues.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $73,150 - $174,000

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
