Job Title: Sr Electrical Project Manager
Location: Mechanicsburg, PA
Type: Direct Hire
Work Model: Onsite / Hybrid

Responsibilities

  • Manage very large projects with 10 years of practical experience as an electrical contracting Foreman and/or Project Manager in a commercial/industrial environment.
  • Effectively lead and coordinate the project team from inception to completion in accordance with the job contract.
  • Perform estimation on smaller jobs and prepare change orders by verifying contract modifications, collaborating with estimators and foremen.
  • Conduct meetings with estimators and jobsite foremen to review wiring methods, schedules, man hours, equipment, and materials.
  • Ensure submittals are approved by engineers and communicated to relevant parties.
  • Develop weekly goals and milestones for foremen; document and track labor costs.
  • Track and update job cost projections, reporting significant variances to stakeholders.
  • Adjust manpower requirements using a three-week look-ahead schedule aligned with current jobsite conditions.
  • Procure materials, tools, equipment, and information in a timely manner for job site operations.
  • Oversee jobsite safety measures, ensuring proper PPE use and safety protocols during site visits.
  • Coordinate start-ups with manufacturers, owners, and ensure permits and inspections are obtained.
  • Maintain clear communication with owners, construction managers, general contractors, subcontractors, and the workforce.
  • Ensure operation and material manuals are completed accurately and promptly, meeting all final project requirements.
  • Collaborate with executive management and estimators to foster customer relationships.
  • Assist with project reporting alongside finance and control teams.
  • Coordinate with project managers and service managers to oversee project execution and changes.
  • Represent company professionally to ensure customer and employee satisfaction.
  • Uphold professional conduct in all personal and social media interactions, reflecting positively on the company


Requirements

  • Extensive experience managing large electrical projects in a commercial/industrial setting.
  • Minimum of 10 years' practical experience as an electrical foreman or project manager.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
