As we continue to modernize and scale our technology platforms, we are seeking an experienced Dynatrace Administrator to help advance our observability strategy, bring fresh perspectives, and play a key role in improving the reliability, performance, and customer experience of our hospitality solutions.

The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance, troubleshoot and resolve service and customer challenges within our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) organization and work closely with developers & EA teams by taking their requirement and converting into business transactions. Manage & improve APM solution according to the needs of the organization. Role will be very hands-on and will include providing insights about Dynatrace and connecting it with other monitoring tools.

Responsibilities
  • Own the administration, configuration, governance, and continuous improvement of the Dynatrace platform across Aven Hospitality's cloud and application estate.
  • Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end observability standards covering infrastructure, applications, databases, containers, Kubernetes (GKE), cloud services, and digital experience monitoring.
  • Lead onboarding of new applications, services, and platforms into Dynatrace while ensuring monitoring consistency and adherence to observability standards.
  • Develop and maintain alerting strategies, anomaly detection models, and AI-driven problem correlation to reduce alert noise and improve signal quality.
  • Configure and optimize Dynatrace Davis AI, management zones, tagging strategies, dashboards, and service detection rules.
  • Partner with Cloud Engineering, SRE, DevOps, DBA, and Application teams to establish Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and reliability metrics.
  • Drive root cause analysis and performance investigations for critical production incidents and major outages.
  • Implement observability best practices for Kubernetes, cloud-native applications, microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.
  • Create executive, operational, and engineering dashboards that provide actionable insights into availability, performance, customer experience, and business services.
  • Develop automation for monitoring deployment, configuration management, and observability-as-code using APIs, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Optimize data ingestion, retention policies, and licensing consumption to maximize platform value and cost efficiency.
  • Lead platform upgrades, integrations, and enhancements with tools such as ServiceNow, Splunk, cloud providers, CI/CD platforms, and incident management solutions.
  • Define observability governance, standards, naming conventions, documentation, and operational procedures.
  • Mentor engineers and operational teams on observability practices, performance engineering, and proactive monitoring strategies.
