Qualifications

• 8-15+ years of IT experience with NSX-T expertise
• Hands-on experience with NSX features like DFW, routing, VPN, and micro-segmentation
• Strong networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, and VXLAN/Geneve
• Experience with VMware technologies including vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter
• Proficiency in scripting and automation with Python, PowerShell, Terraform, or Ansible
• Knowledge of data center networking concepts such as Leaf-Spine architecture
• Familiarity with cloud networking in AWS/Azure is preferred
• VMware certifications like VCP-NV / VCAP / VCDX are also preferred

Responsibilities

• Design and implement VMware NSX-T / NSX-V network virtualization solutions
• Architect micro-segmentation and zero-trust network security strategies
• Deploy logical networking components including Tier-0/Tier-1 routing, DFW, NAT, and load balancing
• Lead NSX migrations from NSX-V to NSX-T environments
• Integrate NSX with vSphere, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
• Troubleshoot complex network and security issues while performing root cause analysis (RCA)
• Automate deployment processes using tools such as Python, PowerCLI, Terraform, or Ansible
• Mentor junior engineers, supporting solution design and pre-sales efforts
