Full Job Description
Job Summary:

We are seeking a Sr. Director, Product Management, UHNW Platform to lead the strategy and evolution of the platform supporting Mercer Advisor's Regis Group-our integrated offering designed to serve ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients with complex, family office-level needs.

This role has end-to-end responsibility for the product strategy, client and advisor experience, and technology roadmap for the Regis platform. You will define how the platform-spanning people, process, and technology-should evolve to support a highly differentiated client segment, translating complex business needs into clear product direction, well-architected workflows, and actionable requirements.

Operating at the intersection of business, operations, and technology, you will own what we build and why, working in close partnership with external partners and the technology team, responsible for how solutions are built, and with the advisory teams who use those solutions and are responsible for delivering successful client outcomes. While highly strategic in scope, this role is also hands-on, requiring direct engagement in discovery, workflow design, and product definition.

A critical aspect of this role is developing a deep understanding of how advisors, investment professionals, tax specialists, estate planning strategists, and operational teams work in practice. You will engage directly with stakeholders across the organization-observing workflows, identifying friction points, and synthesizing often inconsistent inputs into clear problem definitions and scalable platform solutions.

The ideal candidate thrives in complexity, brings structure to ambiguity, and balances strategic vision with disciplined execution and follow-through to measurable business results.

Essential Job Functions for this role include:

Product strategy, discovery, and client experience ownership
  • Define and own the product vision and multi-year roadmap for the Regis platform to balance near-term priorities with long-term transformational goals
  • Translate business strategy, client needs, and advisor feedback into a cohesive, prioritized product direction
  • Develop a deep, first-hand understanding of workflows across advisors, clients, and operational teams through direct engagement
  • Synthesize diverse and sometimes conflicting inputs into clear problem statements and high-impact opportunities
  • Identify root causes of friction and design scalable, integrated workflows that improve client and advisor experience
  • Bring structure to an evolving environment, shifting from reactive development to intentional product design

Product definition and solution design
  • Translate Regis Ultra High Net Worth and Family Office business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and process flows
  • Lead product discovery and solution design to ensure the right problems are being solved
  • Partner with engineering and architecture teams to design solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and aligned to long-term platform goals
  • Ensure consistency and integration across a multi-system platform ecosystem
  • Own Regis platform adoption to drive utilization of new process flows, measure advisor and client engagement with platform capabilities, and provide hands-on enablement support to ensure use as designed

Roadmap management and delivery execution
  • Define and manage a prioritized product roadmap, balancing business impact, user needs, technical constraints, and dependencies
  • Align roadmap decisions with strategic objectives while operating within budget and resource constraints
  • Partner with internal technology team and external partners to translate priorities into execution plans
  • Remain actively engaged through delivery to ensure outcomes align with product intent and business objectives

Cross-functional leadership and platform stewardship
  • Serve as the central point of alignment across Product, Technology, Operations, Investments, Compliance, and external partners
  • Facilitate decision-making across competing priorities, trade-offs, and sequencing considerations
  • Influence stakeholders at all levels without direct authority and lead cross-functional initiatives
  • Oversee the evolution of a multi-system platform ecosystem, ensuring it remains integrated, scalable, and aligned to long-term needs

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, platform strategy, or related roles
  • Experience with UHNW or family office environments
  • Proven experience leading complex, multi-system platform initiatives in cross-functional environments
  • Demonstrated ability to operate across both strategic planning and hands-on execution
  • Strong experience in product discovery, workflow design, and requirements definition
  • Track record of translating complex business needs into well-designed product solutions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with comfort operating in ambiguous environments
  • Bachelor's degree required

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in wealth management, financial services, or investment platforms
  • Experience with CRM systems, portfolio management tools, and client reporting platforms
  • Background in operating model design, process transformation, or platform modernization
  • Awareness of industry trends and emerging practices in wealth management technology

What Success Looks Like
  • A clearly defined and aligned product roadmap supporting the growth of the Regis platform
  • Measurable improvements in client and advisor experience and adoption of both new and existing capabilities
  • A cohesive, scalable platform that reduces friction and improves operational efficiency
  • Strong cross-functional alignment and effective prioritization
  • Delivery of solutions that are well-designed, integrated, and aligned with long-term strategy
