Meet the team:

Reporting to the Head of Software, the Senior Director of Software Engineering for Clinical Applications will lead the development, delivery, and lifecycle management of Dexcom's clinical software applications and experiences. This leader will own end-to-end software execution for products and capabilities that support clinical workflows, therapy management, patient engagement, healthcare provider experiences, and intelligent digital health solutions.

As part of Dexcom's evolving Product Operating Model, this role will build and lead high-performing cross-functional software teams with clear ownership of product outcomes, software quality, reliability, and delivery execution. Teams operate with modern software engineering practices including continuous integration, continuous delivery, automated verification, and early integration of test and quality considerations throughout the development lifecycle.

  • You will drive modern engineering practices including CI/CD pipelines, AI-Assisted development workflows, automated testing, integrated quality engineering, and reliable software delivery at scale
  • You will ensure test, quality, and verification considerations are incorporated early in the product development lifecycle to improve product reliability and release confidence
  • You will partner with architecture and platform teams to develop scalable, intelligent software solutions leveraging modern cloud and AI-enabled technologies where appropriate

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree with 17+ years of industry experience
  • Requires a degree in a technical discipline
  • 13+ years of successful management experience in relevant industry


Remote Workplace: Your location will be a home office; you are not required to live within commuting distance of your assigned Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km).
