Purpose of the Job:

As the Senior Director of Clinical Transformation, you will shape and execute enterprise-wide strategic initiatives that directly elevate clinical outcomes and enhance the quality of life for over 200,000 kidney care patients nationwide.

You will lead a multidisciplinary, high-caliber team with backgrounds spanning management consulting, healthcare delivery, and project management. You will be responsible for identifying high-value clinical opportunities, driving complex cross-functional work streams, fostering strong organizational alignment, and presenting strategic recommendations to executive leadership.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Shapes strategic direction

  • Builds deep understanding of clinical processes and care delivery models that influence patient clinical outcomes.

  • Crafts problem statements that are informed by KPIs and clinical analytics in ways that clarify where we should focus effort.

Develops impactful solutions

  • Leverages hypothesis-based approach to identify, assess, test and quantify impact of interventions to improve clinical outcomes.

  • Identifies when it is appropriate to leverage technological solutions, captures key user requirements, and partners with internal or external partners in solution development.

Leads execution across multiple functions

  • Ensures work stays on track across many functional areas through robust project management.

  • Distills complex concepts into cohesive, impactful stories.

  • Presents comfortably and compellingly to senior audiences.

  • Allocates team resources to ensure all timelines and deliverables are met.

Supports direct reports and builds relationships

  • Inspires direct reports, cross-functional groups, and senior leaders to action.

  • Develops and mentors teammates.

  • Successfully manages relationships with senior business leaders through effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.

Travel:

  • Up to 20% travel may be required at times; though typical travel is 5%.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • 8+ years of progressive professional experience, including leadership in large-scale business or clinical transformation from concept through implementation with measurable impact.

  • Demonstrated ability to build executive-level relationships, influence cross-functional teams, and drive sustainable change.

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree strongly preferred (MBA, MPH, MHA, MS, MD/DO, or MSN).

  • 12+ years of total professional experience with a track record of executive leadership in healthcare strategy, management consulting, or care delivery innovation.

  • Formal change management certification or methodology training (e.g., Prosci/ADKAR, Lean Six Sigma).

  • Deep familiarity with healthcare clinical workflows, care delivery models, or value-based care.

The Salary Range for the role is $129,000.00 - $205,000.00 per year.
