Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and Python, including data analysis libraries
• Strong data modeling experience with SQL, NoSQL, and relational modeling
• Ability to learn new technologies across the full tech stack
• Experience with Azure cloud infrastructure
• Familiarity with Container Applications (Docker)
• Professional experience in application programming with an object-oriented language.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data models in collaboration with product, analytics, and engineering teams
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to address challenges impacting enterprise customers
• Build data transformations and flows using Python, SQL, DBT, Postgres, and Snowflake
• Create automated ETL jobs that process large data volumes reliably
• Develop tools to enhance the efficiency of other data engineers
• Optimize existing data implementations and migrate to new paradigms as needed
• Become a subject matter expert in the drug discount space to support internal teams
