Job Summary:

JOB SUMMARY
Acts as a communication point for emergency and non-emergency calls to receive requests, transmit messages and dispatch personnel with minimal guidance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

​ Shift - 7 days a week. Must be available for either 6am-2pm / 2pm-11pm / 11pm-6am.
​• Prioritizes calls, dispatches personnel and coordinates a resolution of issues.
• Activates emergency response protocols when required.
• Monitors and coordinates building automation systems.
• Assists with routine preventive maintenance and alarm testing.

TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES
• Safety (Intermediate): The knowledge of and attentiveness to safety as well as compliance with the rules regarding safety.
• Computer/Electronic Knowledge (Novice): Knowledge of the use of applications and tasks on computers and other electronic devices as part of regular work responsibilities. It includes knowledge of software such as word processors, spreadsheets, text editors, and graphics.
• Emergency Planning (Intermediate): Ability to anticipate resource needs and then arrange, prioritize and shape activities to meet objectives.
• Customer Service (Intermediate): A continuing focus on the needs and requirements of customers, anticipating their needs, remaining sensitive to customers while performing services for them, responsive to customer needs.
