Responsibilities

Full Job Description
Summary

Defense Acquisition Support Services (DAS) is seeking a Sr. Contract Analyst III to support our customer at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

Responsibilities:

The contractor shall perform the following tasks:
  • Provide recommendations and assistance with the acquisition strategy documentation, analysis, and possible courses of action for consideration for ACAT programs.
  • Provide support and/or review program milestone-related documentation to ensure compliance with all aspects of the DoD 5000 series directives.
  • Support the development and review of program acquisition documentation to include Acquisition Plans, Acquisition Strategies, Procurement Requests, and Performance Work Statements (PWS).
  • Support the planning and development of complex acquisitions ranging from commercial purchases, GSA, Technology Investment Agreements (TIA), and Other Transaction Authority for prototype project agreements (OTA) for experimental purpose agreements.
  • Provide analysis to diverse teams concerning the acquisition process. Participate in meetings and support specified Program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
  • Provide Milestone with review analysis and support.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on all contractual matters under the FAR, DFARS, DoD 5000 series, and other applicable policy, laws, and statues.

Required Qualifications:
  • Active Secret Clearance (required)
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in DoD Government Contracting (1102 series)
  • Minimum of 6 years in a Senior Level Contracting position
  • Minimum of 8 years working with DoD contracts at the Systems level (DoD 5000)
  • DAWIA level III certification, Contracting Professional Certification, or equivalent
