Full Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for complex operational, clinical, and strategic analyses, both routine and ad hoc. Supports leadership in achieving the goals and tactics of the JH Health System Strategic Plan through provision of analytic models and business intelligence informatics. Leads design, development, and maintenance of multiple informatics and analytic models within enterprise support systems.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Exercises good judgement and sound decision making in researching critical issues and generating innovative solutions for efficient workflow and deliverables execution
  • Leads as project manager with assigned project management activities including prioritizing, assigning, and reviewing deliverables for the team
  • Provides leadership for implementation of new and upgraded systems/releases or new/revised operational procedures
  • Trains other employees in the use of support systems and reporting tools
  • Identifies operational improvement opportunities and assists with implementing solutions
  • Enhances professional growth to remain current on market trends, emerging analytic solutions, and advances in informatics
  • Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Informatics, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in Electronic Health Record systems analysis, workflow process analysis, data warehouse support analytics, and/or application systems with record of tangible accomplishment in applying these skills in the health care environment
  • Computer skills including proficient knowledge of full Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong project management skills
