About the Role: As a CBRE Space Planning Consultant and CAFM Specialist, you will lead the delivery of space planning, data analysis, and reporting for high-profile clients.
You will serve as a key advisor, providing strategic recommendations and solutions to optimize space utilization and meet client needs. As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will lead the technical management of our global facility systems.
What You'll Do: - Drive the strategy for space data integrity, oversee complex CAD integrations, and serve as the primary architect for our CAFM environment to support expanding global footprint
- Lead the configuration, customization and strategic roadmap of the CAFM platform
- Manage API integrations with HR and IT systems
- Manage complex AutoCAD drawing sets, implement standardization protocols, and utilize scripting (LISP) to automate drawing cleanup and polylining processes
- Train junior staff and vendors on data compliance. Support CAFM colleagues in their regions depending on workflow fluctuations
- Review space requirements and provide conceptual plans and recommendations to the real estate team and high-profile stakeholders.
- Create block or stack plans, charters, and move lists.
- Produce complex drawings and presentations for internal stakeholders and client-facing steering committee meetings for review and feedback. Involve project management staff as appropriate for move and construction services.
- Coordinate data aggregation and develop reports using BI and reporting tools to support operational decision-making
- Perform ad hoc analysis of structured and unstructured data to support space planning and real estate operations
- Conduct evaluation and review of work area affected by move planning to ensure that current location(s) and office availability at destination location(s) is reflected accurately.
- Manage space walks for validation and update of occupancy metrics.
- Responsible for reviewing and maintaining occupancy data within the system of record. Define data requirements and apply analytical methods to validate and interpret data
- Prepare forecasts and evaluate space planning trends in general business conditions. Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of CAFM data and related systems.
- Conduct interviews and discussions with client(s) to gather, coordinate and synthesize project requirements, and functional, operational, and cultural issues.
- Liaise with Change Management teams as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, HR, Real Estate, and Planning) to enhance processes and system capabilities
- Make recommendations and implement necessary space planning code changes and/or requirements and updates to support process improvements across CAFM and related systems.
- Facilitate post-occupancy support and reviews to ensure deliverables were executed and client's expectations were met.
- Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
- Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
- Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
- Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.

What You'll Need:- Bachelor's Degree with 6-8 years of progressive experience in CAFM/IWMS administration (Archibus, Tririga, Serraview or Tableau). A combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree. Master's degree preferred
- Expert level AutoCAD skills, including the ability to write scripts/routines, manager complex XREFs, and trouble shoot drawing corruption.
- Deep understanding of BOMA standards and space classification hierarchies.
- Strong proficiency in database management (SQL) and advanced Excel modeling.
- Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
- Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
- Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex information and build consensus.
- Experience in leading and coaching teams to achieve project goals.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Knowledge of space planning principles and best practices.
- Experience in client relationship management and delivering high-quality service.
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr. CAFM Specialist position is $110,000 annually with bonus eligibility and the maximum salary for the position is $135,000 annually with bonus eligibility. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
