Overview

How you can make a difference

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to help drive HealthEquity Marketplace, a managed affiliate platform designed to help our members get more health and healthcare per dollar through our affiliated partner brands.

 

This role gathers business information and molds it into actionable decisions across Marketplace. You interpret business and merchant needs and translate them into detailed requirements, configuration changes, and process improvements. You work closely with Product, Engineering, and Merchant Partners to keep the platform running and releasing well.

 

This role sits within the Product organization.What you will be doing

  • Requirements and stakeholder engagement
    • Engage business stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle. Gather requirements and acceptance criteria for top Marketplace opportunities, and maintain continual communication and stakeholder management.
    • Participate in Scrum cadence meetings to support the team's delivery and ensure designed solutions track to acceptance criteria.
    • Document solutions to enable training, process development, and service delivery.
    • Define and track success measurements for initiatives you support.
  • Configuration and operations
    • Manage configuration and content across Marketplace commerce surfaces. This includes merchant, program, and personalization content, along with supporting configuration of feature rollout and personalization tooling used across Marketplace.
    • Support operational and market release readiness activities.
    • Troubleshoot potential system and process issues, and identify and document deficiencies with recommended solutions.
    • Support monitoring and remediation of potential customer-impacting issues.
  • Analysis and discovery
    • Lead initiative level discovery efforts and gap analysis. Serve as a domain subject matter expert for Marketplace and drive the definition of solution use cases.
    • Conduct user acceptance and end to end testing of the final solution.
    • Use AI-assisted tooling to accelerate requirements, testing, and content operations as part of our ALDC process.

What you will need to be successful

  • Bachelor's degree in business, mathematics, statistics, finance, accounting, or equivalent work experience. MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience identifying, proactively engaging, and clearly communicating with relevant stakeholder groups.
  • Experience eliciting and writing clear, well-structured business requirements and formal software solution documentation.
  • Experience with product management and software development tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, and Aha!
  • Experience owning and managing production defects, including root cause research and coordinating resolution with affected stakeholders.
  • Ability to navigate structures and query data via Databricks.
  • Experience defining, building, and executing end to end manual functional test cases, and leading stakeholder UAT sessions for small to medium sized projects.
  • Experience configuring or maintaining commerce, affiliate, or content platforms.
  • Knowledge of SAFe Agile principles.
  • Working experience with 20% of your throughput occurring through AI tools and processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to consult with users and understand, assess, and present their needs.

Preferred qualifications

  • Working knowledge of affiliate marketing, ecommerce or managed marketplace operations.
  • An understanding of healthcare financial accounts (HSA, HRA, FSA) and healthcare insurance.

Salary Range$87500.00 To $111500.00 / year Benefits & Perks

The actual compensation offer is determined based on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, and work location. This position will be eligible for performance-based incentives as part of the total compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits including:

Onboarding & Travel

This is a remote role, with an in-person onboarding training component. New team members must participate in Trailhead, HealthEquity’s immersive onboarding experience Trailhead is designed to foster meaningful connections, support your integration into the organization, and equip you with a strong understanding of our business. Trailhead participation is a key expectation of this role. Trailhead is held onsite at our headquarters once per quarter. HealthEquity covers all required travel and accommodations. 

 

This role may begin with a virtual, self-paced onboarding experience, followed by a mandatory onsite Trailhead session at a later date.
