Job SummaryThe Sr. Benefits Analyst will oversee the administration, compliance, and ongoing effectiveness of our Health & Welfare programs. The incumbent will serve as a critical liaison between employees, vendors, payroll, consultants, and business leaders.
Duties and Responsiblities- Administer company health and welfare benefit programs and resolve escalated employee and vendor issues.
- Manage annual Open Enrollment, benefit communications, system testing, and vendor coordination.
- Serve as primary contact for benefit vendors and maintain strong service partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, cafeteria plan regulations, and required notices.
- Coordinate Form 5500 filings, ACA reporting, and other compliance-related activities.
- Manage COBRA, HSA, FSA, commuter benefits, and related administrative processes.
- Review, reconcile, and process monthly benefit invoices, allocations, and reporting.
- Partner closely with Payroll to ensure accurate benefit deductions, life event changes, leave administration, and year-end reporting.
- Support administration and governance of the company 401(k) retirement plan.
- Identify trends, process improvements, and potential compliance risks requiring escalation.

Qualifications and Experience- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of progressive benefits administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of Health & Welfare and retirement plan administration.
- Working knowledge of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and other applicable regulations.
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and Excel skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer proficient in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) and email.
- Experience partnering with Payroll, Finance, and external benefit providers.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred
- Experience managing benefit vendors, renewals, and implementations preferred
- Knowledge of retirement plan governance and Pooled Employer Plan (PEP) administration preferred
- Understanding of budgeting, accounting allocations, and benefit financial reporting preferred
