Full Job Description
Your Role: Site Sr IT Analyst - Manufacturing Operations

As the Site Sr IT Analyst, you will be the primary on-site IT partner for the Elwood Manufacturing facility, supporting manufacturing, laboratory, and business operations. You will be responsible for maintaining reliable and secure IT infrastructure while partnering with Operational Technology (OT) stakeholders to implement technology solutions that enable safe and efficient operations.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the reliability, availability, and security of site IT systems and services supporting manufacturing and laboratory operations, while troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a compliant manner.
  • Serve as the primary on-site IT contact for site leadership and as the key liaison to regional and global IT teams, vendors, and service providers.
  • Build strong partnerships with business and operational stakeholders to identify needs and deliver effective technology solutions.
  • Provide local support for enterprise applications and maintain end-to-end ownership of site-specific systems, including validation and change control.
  • Lead and manage multiple technology projects simultaneously, including scope definition, risk management, and status communication.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent level of experience).
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on IT experience, preferably in manufacturing, laboratory, or regulated environments.
  • Technical expertise in enterprise infrastructure (Cisco, Windows Server, Azure) and IT service management (ITIL/ServiceNow).

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing-related computer systems, HMI, PLCs, and data flows.
  • Knowledge of computer system validation (CSV), CAPA, and documentation practices within GxP environments.
  • Experience with quality systems such as Veeva Vault.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments.

Elanco currently anticipates that the base salary for this position could range from $75,000 to $125,000 depending partly on the successful candidate's qualifications, including education and experience. Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending partly on company and individual performance). Additionally, Elanco offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees that includes a company-matching 401(k); vacation benefits; eligibility for medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug benefits; flexible benefits (e.g., healthcare and/or dependent day care flexible spending accounts); life insurance and death benefits; certain time off and leave of absence benefits; and well-being benefits (e.g., employee assistance program, fitness benefits, and employee clubs and activities). Of course, the compensation is subject to change and could be higher or lower than the range described above.
