Full Job Description
Alamo Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Analyst, FP&A to join our team in New Braunfels, TX.

This critical role will support a variety of responsibilities and report directly to the Sr. Director, Division Finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for month end reporting, assisting the budgeting and forecasting process, producing regular performance and variance analysis, and ad hoc reporting to support the division.

Month End Reporting:
  • Maintain monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reports
  • Develop additional reports and models, as needed

Budgeting & Forecasting:
  • Manage the annual budget and regular forecast process, including consolidation
  • Own the management and maintenance of reporting and planning systems (e.g., Oracle EPM/Hyperion)

Performance Analysis:
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and operational reporting
  • Analyze variances between actual, budget, and forecast results
  • Maintain and enhance reporting of key operational and financial metrics

Ad Hoc Reporting:
  • Develop reports and models to provide visibility to historical data, trends, and current results
  • Develop and maintain financial models to enable improved decision making
  • Develop and maintain dashboards to improve KPI reporting and visibility to financial data for business partners

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, economics, or related field is required.
  • Experience with Oracle EPM/Hyperion preferred.
  • 3+ years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or related experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Working Conditions:

Work performed in an office environment, with frequent sitting for extended periods of time and occasional lifting of 10 pounds independently; and stooping, reaching, and/or bending to perform accounting clerical/filing requirements.
