Responsibilities

  • Prepare briefings and strategy for Milestone Decision Authority (MDA)
  • Draft JCIDS documentation as per DoD 5000.02 guidelines
  • Attend, document, and summarize key meetings
  • Develop training resources and evaluation board analysis for proposals
  • Create program documentation, including risk management and acquisition plans
  • Coordinate quarterly Program Management Reviews, managing all meeting logistics
  • Monitor cost, schedule, and performance metrics for NCWDG programs.

Position Summary

MAG Aerospace is hiring a Sr.  Acquisition Analyst to provide technical support to the Navy Cyber Warfare Developmental Group (NCWDG). Place of performance for this position is in Annapolis Junction, MD.

Must hold a currrent TS/SCI Clearance to qualify

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

  • Prepare briefings and strategy recommendations for the Milestone Decision Authority (MDA)
  • Prepare Joint Capabilities Integration and Development Systems (JCIDS) documentation including, but not limited to, those listed in DoD 5000.02.
  • Attend, document, and summarize meetings
  • Provide training and develop evaluation board analysis reports for proposal evaluations.
  • Develop program and project documentation, risk management documentation, acquisition plans, and program schedules
  • Coordinate quarterly Program Management Review for the PMO to include briefing template development, scheduling, briefing book preparation, and meeting coordination.
  • Monitor Cost, Schedule, and Performance of NCWDG entities
Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience related to systems acquisition, including logistics, research and development, configuration management or systems analysis or design
  • Experience working on, or managing, programs including at least 5 years in science and technology or research, development, test and evaluation programs
  • Experience briefing and developing briefs for Flag Officers and Senior Executives
  • Experience with Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) to include the development of acquisition strategies, development of budget and financial management documentation, and monitoring project performance and contract deliverables.
  • Proficient managing research and development projects
  • Proficient developing program budget and program execution plans to track against financial benchmarks
  • Proficient with DoD contracting procedures and guidance including DFARS and FAR.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering Management, Business or relevant technical discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Physics.
  • Allowable substitution: Bachelor of Science or Arts degree AND an additional 5 years of experience in engineering management and supervision of a project in an engineering field (10 years of above experience all together)

 

Clearance

  • TOP SECRET CURRENT/ACTIVE
  • Possess eligibility for access to be upgraded to a TS/SCI in the NEAR future upon hire - (ALL HIRES WILL MAINTAIN AN SCI - MAG Will Upgrade your TS to TS/SCI - IF YOU POSSES THE BACKGROUND TO BE UPGRADED) 
  • Be able to successfully pass a Counterintelligence polygraph examination in the future
  • Possess an investigation that is current within 6 years
  • Personnel who are enrolled in CE will also be eligible

 

Other Qualifications

  • DAU Level 2 Certification (in Program Management, SPRDE, or Systems Engineering) or equivalent

The projected compensation range for this position is $180,000 to $200,000 (annualized USD).
