A Day in the Life
We are seeking a committed professional to join our team. While this is a remote position not located at a physical Medtronic site, the candidate hired will be required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver's license is essential for this role.

Our Cranial & Spinal Technologies (CST) Operating Unit develops and delivers an integrated ecosystem of spinal implants, navigation and robotic guidance systems, advanced imaging, and data-driven planning tools for complex spine and cranial procedures. Platforms such as AiBLE™ connect these technologies to enhance surgical precision, streamline workflows, and support improved patient outcomes across the globe.

This is a field based role.

As a Sales Channel Manager, you will be a vital member of our sales channel team, responsible for acquiring, managing, and optimizing the performance of our sales channels. Your primary goal is to partner with the senior leadership team to drive revenue growth, expand market reach, and enhance relationships with possible channel partners. This role requires a deep understanding of sales channel strategies and a knack for developing and executing successful channel programs.

Distribution Channel Strategy:
  • Develop and execute distribution channel strategies that align with the company's sales and revenue goals.
  • Evaluate and research potential distribution partners to expand market reach.

Channel Partner Relationships:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential distribution partners.
  • Collaborate with internal & external partners to create mutual business objectives and ensure alignment.

Channel Performance Management:
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of distribution channels.
  • Implement improvements and enhancements to increase channel efficiency and revenue generation.

Contract Negotiation:
  • Negotiation of distribution agreements and contracts with partners, outlining terms, pricing, and expectations.
  • Review and update contracts as necessary to reflect changing business needs.

Market Analysis:
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities related to the distribution channels.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth.

Reporting and Analysis:
  • Direct the creation and maintenance of reports and dashboards to track and report on channel performance.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the sales channel leads and sales leadership based on data analysis provided by the analyst team.


Must Have: Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of relevant sales experience; or
  • Advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant sales and leadership experience

**Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy. In addition, your driving record will be reviewed and will be considered as part of your application.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in distribution channel management, sales, or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of distribution channel strategies and best practices.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and data-driven with the ability to interpret KPIs and make data-based decisions.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, goal-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of the industry and our products
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.


For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. a7 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$125,000.00 - $125,000.00

This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), which provides the opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals.

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
