Must-Have:
- Detailed knowledge of speech and language pathology, including the interpretation of data
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with at least one 13-week travel assignment
Description:
Evaluates and treats patients regarding a wide variety of therapeutic interventions for rehabilitation of speech, language, communication, cognition, hearing, and dysphagia disorders.
Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the lifespan of patients served.
Oversees and ensures a comprehensive rehabilitation program designed to meet the physical, psychosocial, cognitive, and immediate environmental well-being of the patient.
Promotes patient and caregiver self-determination by optimizing resource utilization to achieve the highest level of independence.
Coordinates and communicates with various disciplines or services involved in patient care.
Drives efforts toward discharge goals established at initial evaluation and during the episode of care.
Basic understanding of the rules and regulations within the specific setting is necessary.
Teamwork and collaboration are essential components of patient care.
