Effective for the [redacted] school year, a vacancy for full-time Speech and Language Therapist positions for school-age exists within the Division of Student Services for the Chester County Intermediate Unit. This position will serve school age special education students within the Reading Area school district.
Qualifications:- Must have valid PDE certification as a Speech & Language Therapist
- Master's degree in Communicative Disorders
- Certificate of Clinical Competence; Clinical Fellowship year considered
- Current police, child abuse and FBI Fingerprint clearances required
- Clearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and federal government (conducted by CCIU upon hire)
Duties and Responsibilities:- Provide speech/language therapy services, complete evaluations and maintain all paperwork for a caseload of students including itinerant classrooms.
Position location: Countywide
Salary 2026-27 School Year:- $74,415- $107,845 - all SLPs with Master's Degree in Speech Pathology/Communication Sciences Disorders (Track I)
** Placement on salary range is determined by years of experience
