Full Job Description
This is a full-time, on-site role as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) serving a school located in Edmond, OK.

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will be responsible for providing therapy services to students, conducting assessments, developing IEP plans, evaluating progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, parents). The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for working with students with special needs.

Job Details

  • Full-time school-based opportunity with a 37.5-hour weekly schedule
  • Fully on-site, in-person assignment serving students across PreK through 12th grade
  • Provide direct student services, complete comprehensive evaluations, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and manage assigned student caseloads
  • Participate in IEP meetings, develop individualized service plans, and monitor student progress
  • Guaranteed paid hours include direct services, documentation, planning, meetings, and administrative responsibilities
  • Manageable caseloads designed to support high-quality student services and professional success
  • Ongoing collaboration and support from both the partnering school district and the TheraPeds Partners team
  • $55-$65+ per hour, with estimated weekly earnings of approximately $2,062-$2,437+

Requirements

Qualifications
  • Master's or PhD degree from a Speech-Language Pathology program
  • State License as Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Department of Education Licensure as a SLP
  • National License: ASHA
  • Licensing with the State Department of Education, where required
  • CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) preferred
  • CF-SLP placement may be available
  • Experience working with children
  • Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient in use of technology
  • Fingerprint background clearance
  • Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications


Physical Requirements

Working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling, and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities, while adhering to the duties outlined by the district.
