Job DescriptionThis position is for the upcoming school year, from August 4, 2026 - May 27, 2027.Speech-Language Pathologist Salary: $55-$60 per hour
Speech-Language Pathologist Position Details: - Full-Time (40 hours/week)
- Time included in the schedule for documentation and paperwork
- No extra duties assigned (no bus duty, car rider duty, etc.)
- 1099 contract
- Strong support from district
Speech-Language Pathologist Qualifications: - CCC-SLP required
- Active Florida SLP license required
- Florida Department of Education certification (as required for school-based practice)
- Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
- Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
Speech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities May Include: - Addressing personal, social, emotional, academic, and vocational needs which impact educational goals
- Providing push-in support in classrooms
- Performing evaluations and providing appropriate goals for students that require speech/language therapy.
- Providing continued support for students' Individual Education Programs (IEPs).
- Maintaining appropriate records and documentation.
- Developing and implementing IEPs
- Performing all related work, documentation, and reporting as required.
