This position is for the upcoming school year, from August 4, 2026 - May 27, 2027.

Speech-Language Pathologist Salary: $55-$60 per hour

Speech-Language Pathologist Position Details:

  • Full-Time (40 hours/week)
  • Time included in the schedule for documentation and paperwork
  • No extra duties assigned (no bus duty, car rider duty, etc.)
  • 1099 contract
  • Strong support from district


Speech-Language Pathologist Qualifications:

  • CCC-SLP required
  • Active Florida SLP license required
  • Florida Department of Education certification (as required for school-based practice)
  • Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
  • Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)


Speech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities May Include:

  • Addressing personal, social, emotional, academic, and vocational needs which impact educational goals
  • Providing push-in support in classrooms
  • Performing evaluations and providing appropriate goals for students that require speech/language therapy.
  • Providing continued support for students' Individual Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Maintaining appropriate records and documentation.
  • Developing and implementing IEPs
  • Performing all related work, documentation, and reporting as required.
