Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or ability to obtain it before starting the job.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and team members.
• Demonstrated fiscal aptitude for managing therapy-related finances.
• Robust clinical skills to deliver effective patient care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based techniques.
• Establish and implement individualized treatment goals and therapy programs following full clinical evaluations.
• Provide rehabilitative services per specific medical directives as part of a coordinated care team.
• Participate in clinical conferences to discuss and refine patient care plans with colleagues.
• Deliver personalized, one-on-one treatment sessions focused on functional outcomes for residents.
