Full Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our collaborative SLP team, providing high-quality in-patient and out-patient care. This is an exciting opportunity to work with diverse adult populations in a variety of settings and includes an out-patient VFSS clinic

Qualifications

Halton Healthcare is seeking individuals who are competent in their chosen profession; patient/customer focused; team players; effective communicators; caring and respectful and are fiscally responsible.
  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Registered and in good standing with the college of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Ontario.
  • 2 - 3 years of acute hospital experience
  • VFSS experience required
  • FEES experience an asset
  • Committed to supporting student learners
  • 1-2 years experience in assessment & treatment of dysphagia
  • Excellent Organization, Time Management and Communication Skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with interprofessional teams.
  • Flexible to meet the changing demands of a mixed caseloads
  • Satisfactory employment and attendance record

The ideal candidate is strong in patient centred care in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment and should be ready to drive change and innovation. We require a person with good communication skills with a clear patient focus with the ability to manage execution and to foster teamwork and cooperation.

Additional Information

Hours: Monday to Sunday, Various rotating 7.5 hour shifts, 8:00-16:00 (Hours are subject to change based on operational needs)

Salary: $47.039 to $60.979 per hour
