QualificationsHalton Healthcare is seeking individuals who are competent in their chosen profession; patient/customer focused; team players; effective communicators; caring and respectful and are fiscally responsible.
- Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Registered and in good standing with the college of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Ontario.
- 2 - 3 years of acute hospital experience
- VFSS experience required
- FEES experience an asset
- Committed to supporting student learners
- 1-2 years experience in assessment & treatment of dysphagia
- Excellent Organization, Time Management and Communication Skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with interprofessional teams.
- Flexible to meet the changing demands of a mixed caseloads
- Satisfactory employment and attendance record
The ideal candidate is strong in patient centred care in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment and should be ready to drive change and innovation. We require a person with good communication skills with a clear patient focus with the ability to manage execution and to foster teamwork and cooperation.
Additional InformationHours: Monday to Sunday, Various rotating 7.5 hour shifts, 8:00-16:00 (Hours are subject to change based on operational needs)
Salary: $47.039 to $60.979 per hour
