Qualifications

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
• Must possess ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence or be eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year.
• Experience in providing speech therapy services, particularly in a post-acute care setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology.
• Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary coordination.

Responsibilities

• Screen and assess patients for communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Administer rehabilitative treatments to patients with various speech disorders.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide guidance and support to families and caregivers on speech disorders.
• Prepare detailed discharge summaries that meet regulatory criteria.
