Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology required.
• Eligible for registration with CASLPO.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of speech pathology experience in a multidisciplinary health services environment.
• Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills needed.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across all organizational levels.
• Criminal Record Check is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose communication disorders in the adult population.
• Manage speech, language, and swallowing disorders for adult inpatients.
• Interpret diagnostic information to develop treatment programs.
• Oversee assessments of dysphagia and communication disorders.
• Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team in acute care and rehab settings.
• Implement treatment plans based on patients' needs.
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress.
