Speech Language Pathologist

About the Role:

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating residents with speech, language, and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each resident. Your expertise will help residents maintain or improve their communication skills, enabling them to effectively express themselves and connect with others.

Pay starts at $55/hr and increases based on experience level

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose residents with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team
  • Provide speech therapy services to residents, including individual and group sessions
  • Monitor and report resident progress to the care team and family members
  • Document resident information and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in speech language pathology

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Florida
  • Zero years of experience (entry-level candidates welcome to apply)
