Description:
ASD Special Education Teacher - Elementary Caseload (Grades 2-4)
Shift Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:10 PM
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement IEPs aligned with student goals
- Provide differentiated instruction based on individual learning needs
- Collect and document progress monitoring data
- Collaborate with related service providers, paraprofessionals, administrators, and families
- Maintain compliance with IDEA and district special education requirements
- Foster a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements
- Valid Michigan Special Education license with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) endorsement
- Previous experience working with students with severe impairments highly preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills are a must
