Job Description:Parsons is looking for an amazingly skilled and motivated
Electromagnetic Spectrum Manager to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Spectrum Management Office (SMO) within the Office of the Chief Engineer. In this role you will focus on advancing mission-critical initiatives through comprehensive spectrum lifecycle management-including system certification, frequency authorization, interference resolution, and global deployment coordination.
What You'll Be Doing:- Ensure consistent, thorough, and integrated management, execution, and products of Flight, Technical, Programmatic and Cyber risks through the MDA Risk Working Group (MRWG).
- Execute Technical Risk assessments to support MDA Operational Capacity List (OCL) Decisions
- Provide expert review of evidence related to technical, and Cyber risks presented in System and Element requirements and design reviews.
- Provide support to elements for risk development.
- Support Mission Execution and disposition of Execution Risks and Event Observations in Daily MRWGs.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:- Bachelor's Degree in STEM
- 7+ years of experience
- Active Secret clearance
- Understanding of Radio Frequency (RF) theory and electromagnetic principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strict attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Teams
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:- Graduate of a military spectrum management school
- 4+ years of experience within federal/DoW spectrum management
- Ability to obtain / Active Top Secret / SCI security clearance
- Experience with Spectrum XXI (SXXI)
- Knowledge of the NTIA Manual (Redbook)
- Experience with the GEMSIS suite (Stepstone, Host Nation Spectrum Worldwide Database Online [HNSWD-O], Joint Spectrum Data Repository [JSDR], Integrated Spectrum Desktop)
- Knowledge of electromagnetic propagation modeling, wave behavior, and signal attenuation
- Experience with Mat-lab or other programming languages
- Knowledge of the Joint Spectrum Interference Resolution Online (JSIR-O) portal
- Experience with NTIA EL-CID
- Knowledge of standard engineering practices
- Experience with automation tools or programming/scripting languages to aid in data analysis
Security Clearance Requirement:An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.
This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.
Salary Range: $112,200.00 - $196,400.00
