Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years experience, Master's with 6 years, or PhD with 4 years of related experience.
• Experience with Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA).
• Proficient in software architecture and design.
• Knowledge in development and verification of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability (RAM) requirements.
• Familiarity with systems engineering tools such as DOORS.
• Strong communication skills and critical thinking.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Active Secret security clearance required at application time.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and sustainment of the Ground-based Midcourse Defense (GMD) system.
• Conduct Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA).
• Design and review software architectures for system components.
• Develop and verify RAM requirements to ensure system reliability.
• Utilize systems engineering tools for project execution.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
