Job Description:

This role is responsible for supporting the two main areas of Systems Engineering: System Architecture/Design and Integration and Test (I&T). The role supports the technical success of the product, from an overall systems engineering perspective, working all aspects of the full systems life cycle development process (the big V).

Essential Functions:

  • Lead the development of technical documentation in support of engineering solutions that include, but are not limited to, architectural drawings, detailed design specifications, implementation instructions, test procedures, and test reports.
  • Lead small teams to complete tasks on-time and on-budget.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to work under general supervision to set objectives.
  • Assist in engineering system development tasks including system requirements analysis, system architecture and design, preliminary design, critical design, system integration, formal verification, formal validation, and fielding support.
  • Lead in the performance of requirements analysis using DOORS, UML, Model-Based Systems Engineering (SysML), and other system engineering practices.
  • Contribute to the completion of milestones and subsequent gate reviews.
  • Assist in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and cost and risk analyses for total systems.
  • Maintain standards compliance.
  • Travel up to 10% for off-site testing.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent technical discipline (Computer Sciences, Mathematics, or Physics) and minimum 4 years of prior related experience,
    • or Graduate Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
  • Experience with all aspects of SEIT and product development best practices and their applications given program needs.
  • Experience in integrated product teams.


Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written technical communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the military/defense contracting environment.
  • Proficiency in DOORS.
  • AGILE development experience.
  • Integration and Test experience utilizing oscilloscopes, multimeters, and data acquisition systems.
  • IGBT, MOSFET, or power conversion experience.
  • Experience with power supplies greater than 10,000 W.
  • Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio.)


In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $92,500 - $171,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
